Playing with my NEW camera!

Yesterday found me outside pottering around, hanging out washing and playing with my NEW camera! I am still learning what is what & to be honest I haven't read the instruction manual yet, so I have just been experimenting with buttons and lenses & as soon as I get a chance I will sit down and have a proper look!

These were my favourite pics from yesterday, anything that moved or even didn't was a potential photo subject lol! My favourite is the gardenia, a flower that is loved by many in my family and has much history for us.

Some of the pics from Christmas taken with my NEW camera...that I still don't really know how to work lol...but am getting there (a BIG thankyou to a certain someone who helped Brad in his decision!! xx). We had lovely Christmas and were so lucky to have both families here!! We had to cram everyone into the house that night but I suppose that is what Christmas is all about! I do wish that Aunty Tracy and Georga were here, but we will get them next year!

New Years wasn't too big here. We had our friend's Tim & Kayla over...and then for the next 3 days the boys fished non-stop...yep! Even in the rain!! What were your New Year resolutions??

Mine were to work hard this year and save for New Zealand & Africa which are the places I'll be going at the end of 2010/2011... to save for the kitchen & bathroom, to make more time for me and my friends and also to be more resilient, to not care so much about what is said or done anymore, because I am happy and that is what matters most to me.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Years and I do have loads more photos that I may upload in the near future.
